Jerry nicked himself shaving, he always did this in the morning, after a long night of raucous partying. His head ached, his body felt like jello, but he had to make it to work today for his annual presentation. He really shouldn’t have gone out the night before one of his most important days of the year. But that decision had already been made, that bird had flown the coop; soon it would be bright lights, face the music, deliver or get the hell out.
